According to the Warao mythology their home in the Delta is Paradise and they are the chosen ones on this “Heart of the World”. Warao means Man of Canoes and their lives are intimately linked to them. As days go by and we discover their world from our canoes, we share their intimate space and their laughs, we have no doubt that Paradise, is the proper name for this Land of Water.
