In alliance with the Chamber of Commerce and the states official Chronicler we took on the project to visit each one of the 11 municipalities of Nueva Esparta and production of Documentaries of each to promote its Artisans, small ventures and wonders.

This began after the pandemic and it was crucial for many small ventures hard hit by the isolation that had remain closed, arriving with groups of up to 50 persons changed their reality and allowed them to start up again.

With short hikes and fantastic views Margarita has more than 18 official caves and hiking companies that lead excursions to the more emblematic.

The Island of Margarita could well have the largest outdoor Sculpture Museum of the Caribbean, but it is extremely deteriorated and maintenance was forgotten. We began an inventory and visual registry of all the more than 100 pieces, documenting all of them and restoration has began. We organized a Forum with all authorities involved regarding its maintenance, government, Heritage, Cultural & History experts, to know exactly what the situation with Soto’s Sculptute “La Perla de Margarita” is.

Thru our “Fundación Yo Soy Identidad” and with the help of our partners from Windham Hotels we gathered during three days 27 speakers and their Culture promotion presentations & Concerts to a full auditorium.

As a member of the Foundation “Yo soy Identidad” (I am Identity) we organized among other things the first Congress of Neo Spartan Culture, the concert of Cuerdas Espartanas, and along the year many publications regarding our culture and heritage.

I have the honour to be a member of the board of this history rich and beautiful space which is justly considered one of the jewels of Margarita. This are hard times in the country and we have been hit, with only 6.500 visits a year in 2022 from averages of around 80k a decade ago we do magic to keep it running with school programs and events.

This year we were able to register and get physical headquarters for our “Fundación Margarita Solidaria” and we made the first donation of 4 new computers to the “Fe y Alegría” project. The project has several proposals to obtain funds to support the training programs of Fe y Alegría, such as the "Baúl Solidario" which is already operational, it is a reception center for used things to be sold and support the project, as well as plans to create a dining room-school.

Unfortunately, not everything is pretty on these privileged islands and the Pampatar wastewater collection and management system is of our utmost concern. We have shared our concern with the responsible agencies, given talks in schools, made a detailed record of the system, organized some prominent members of the community and 2023 we go with everything to denounce and demand concrete actions from the responsible authorities.

In alliance with Bobby Coimbra of SOHO Square Coimbra and his body of creators, I have been the architect at the local level to promote the "Margarita de Boca en Boca" initiative that seeks to promote the Island from one of the potentials that makes it unique, its gastronomy. With more "Tenedor de Oro" awards from the Gastronomy Academy of Venezuela, Margarita is certainly a gastronomic paradise. la descripción
